I captured this photograph on a sixth-generation ranch in Weatherford, TX, home to a family of dear friends whose legacy runs deep in Western heritage. Inside a small room filled with vintage saddles, dusty hats, and framed memories, I felt the weight of history preserved through generations. To honor their story, I selected six worn hats and photographed them against a simple white backdrop—symbols of the cowboys who came before us. Though their time has passed, their spirit lives on in what they left behind, waiting for the next to carry the legacy forward.
