Year of the Horse marks a bold evolution in Costa Christ’s practice, as he explores new sculptural surfaces through the use of Ferrari hoods and RIMOWA luggage. Known for his ability to merge luxury iconography with contemporary expression, Costa transforms these instantly recognizable objects into striking works of art.
In this exhibition, the Ferrari hood becomes a canvas of power and velocity, while RIMOWA luggage—objects inherently tied to travel and experience—are reimagined. Each piece invites viewers to reconsider the relationship between craftsmanship, material, and meaning.
Year of the Horse speaks to momentum, progress, and endurance—capturing a spirit of forward motion that is both personal and universal, while pushing the boundaries of what defines a contemporary art surface.

Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner.
