This artwork was inspired by a spontaneous moment while photographing a friend, a show jumper, dressed in pristine attire atop her horse—an elegant contrast against the white saddle pad. It was my first time experiencing the world of English eventing, where sleek presentation meets fierce competition and world-class horses. Though I stood out in my cowboy boots and hat, I quickly realized the shared grit between Western and English riders. Beneath the polished boots and sport coats lies the same passion, sacrifice, and dedication to the horseman lifestyle. This is The English Way.
