Montana is steeped in American heritage, and the town of Livingston—gateway to Yellowstone—is one of its most iconic symbols. At its heart is the historic Murray Hotel, a 120-year-old landmark known for its brick walls, marble staircase, neon sign, and hand-cranked elevator. I wanted to honor this setting and the Montana lifestyle—cowboys, pickup trucks, quarter horses, and bold Western charm. We shot this scene on a busy summer Saturday, timing it between green lights and foot traffic to capture the perfect moment. It was chaotic but worth it. Montana holds a special place in my heart, and this artwork is a tribute to its enduring spirit.
