The old art paint tube is balancing the new tube. The old generation gives life to the new generation, and the beat goes on…. or is the young reinvigorating the old? Nonetheless, they both support each other. They both reflect on each other for inspiration and support. The DNA continues to flow.

This classic symbol of temporary repair is the safety pin. Here, the pin is rusty and broken like so many of our systems. However, a new shinny prosetechic is lashed on as a temporary repair. If the pin is closed, it won’t even clasp. The title is referring to the generations that continue to fail to solve our most basic problems with impermanent solutions.
