Within the sanctum of her studio, Waggett's meticulous understanding of materiality, honed through her design education, imbues her work with a tactile sensibility.. Harnessing the transformative power of artistic creation, Waggett navigates themes of feminine strength and resilience, offering a space for healing through trauma within the evocative narratives woven into her artwork.

Waggett's thematic preoccupations extend beyond the confines of aesthetic experimentation, delving into profound meditations on the natural world and humanity's intricate relationship with it. Through her meticulous studies of fauna, Waggett navigates the delicate balance between representation and abstraction, employing scale to elicit visceral responses that unsettle and provoke contemplation.

Central to Waggett's artistic vocabulary is the incorporation of 23-karat gold leaf, a motif that transcends mere ornamentation to symbolise a deeper thematic resonance. Drawing inspiration from traditional Victoriana patterns, Waggett's artistic lineage is rooted in her British heritage, infusing her work with a nuanced sense of cultural identity and historical continuity.

Integral to Waggett's artistic practice is her collaboration with esteemed luxury brands, such as Saks, Soho House, and Netflix, which underscore her engagement with intersecting spheres of art, commerce, and culture.  She has cultivated enduring partnerships with influential organizations dedicated to environmental conservation, including the UN’s Lionshare Fund and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.  Notably Waggett was commissioned by HRH The Prince of Wales in collaboration with the Prince’s Trust 50th Anniversary.

Waggett lives and works between Texas and France, after spending several years in New York and Abu Dhabi.. This transcontinental existence underscores her commitment to artistic exploration and cross-cultural exchange, enriching her creative practice with diverse influences and perspectives. In her perpetual quest for artistic innovation.

Waggett, studied Fashion before continuing her post-graduate education in design at The University of Manchester.
